A beautiful family I’ve known for a long time, the Oakes siblings + parents + dog + cat. It was a chilly October day and it seemed like all weekend I was dodging the drips (rain) 
But all is good! Beautiful color was to be had everywhere.
Danielle is a 2008 Senior from Zionsville High School. Even though we started out with a rainy drippy session, I think we got some fabulous stuff. The rain didn’t stop us at all!
I’ve known the Ashcrafts for awhile now and we had a blast doing family portraits this past week. (well I did anyway :))

It was an honor and privilege to be able to see several legendary NASA astronauts this weekend. They helped to shape our journey through the last 40 something years at NASA. The first and last men on the moon, Neil Armstrong and Eugene Cernan both talked to a crowd of engineering and space enthusiasts, future astronauts, engineers and many others Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the dedication of the $53.2 million Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering.

I just had to post this. I was doing laundry last night when the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen came flooding into the room. I grabbed my tripod & camera and ran out to get a couple. I know, you’ve seen one sunset, you’ve seen them all. But I truly haven’t seen such a beautiful sunset since I was in Hawaii in 2005.

Congratulations to the Lafayette 56ers Redskins on their Superbowl victory and a shoutout to the Titans for a game well played. It was exciting to watch the two well-matched teams battle it out Sunday night. There was a lot of heart and soul on the football field and in my book they were both winners.
Austin Marks (1) making a valiant drive towards the endzone, it is believed that on this drive he fought off 6 players.
