Happy Day! It was wonderful to see Ella & Brennek yesterday. They moved to NC last year so they haven’t been able to get in as often anymore (I don’t know why?)

Well, I don’t often have a Saturday off, but am glad I was able to go to the Vanderkleeds annual fishfry this year. Much fish, food, onion rings and other stuff was consumed by all! AJ had a blast too! Had to post a few pictures here for everyone to enjoy.

Hey all, I don’t know if you remember me blogging about it earlier this summer, but I entered a nation-wide competition called WEDCOMP08

I ended up placing 15th in the portrait category and while it’s certainly not 1st place, I was very happy because of the competition I was up against. Fabulous photographers from all over the world totalling approx. 500 entries.
Here is the image that placed:
This is from a wonderful wedding Chris & I shot in January. The first wedding I used my beloved D3 at, so I guess it is fitting.
LOL The beautiful bride is Jessica surrounded by her bridesmaids.
I do have to give credit to my lighting assistants for this shot, Chris & the FOB, Joe Zachary. Thanks guys!!! When I need light I tend to grab whoever is available – warning to future clients –
Here is the blog entry from the wedding if you want to see more!
