Wow, I haven’t been able to blog in quite awhile because where I’ve been logging in at blocks this, im accounts, and facebook/myspace.

As many of you already know, my 7 year old son AJ was life-lined to Riley on March 17th. Thanks to the quick work and efficiency of the wonderful people at St. Elizabeth & Riley Hospital in Indianapolis and God’s loving hands, we still have him with us today. What happened was that AJ had been having headaches off and on for about a year. The last few weeks they had become a serious issue and we took him to the Dr. He was diagnosed with probable migraines. Unfortunately they were because of a brain tumor and on the morning of the 17th it burst leaving him unconscious. Chris & I were at a convention and my mom & dad rushed him to the hospital.

We are now basically living at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. He has come through 2 surgeries well and we are going to embark on rehab, radiation & chemo treatments this year. More information can be found here where we are updating his progress as we go along:

McGreevy-Marks is still here for you and all of your needs, but the hours I will be working are going to be considerably less for awhile. I still cannot believe what a great concert this was. We had seats on the floor in the 12th row. What we didn’t know, was that we had some of the best seats in the entire arena. About 2/3’s into the concert, Jon came out to a small platform right in front of us to sing (You Want to) Make A Memory. Oh wow! It was just incredible.

Then it got better! Richie came out and joined him for I’ll Be There For You.

Jon finished with one more out there, Till We Ain’t Strangers Anymore. I’m posting a few images below that I got with a little P&S coolpix I had with me. Not my usual camera of choice, but I was glad we were allowed to take these little cams in.

It was a great night! I hope you enjoy looking at these!

I just had to post this. I was doing laundry last night when the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen came flooding into the room. I grabbed my tripod & camera and ran out to get a couple. I know, you’ve seen one sunset, you’ve seen them all. But I truly haven’t seen such a beautiful sunset since I was in Hawaii in 2005.

Redskins Take the 56ers Superbowl for the 2nd year in a row!

Congratulations to the Lafayette 56ers Redskins on their Superbowl victory and a shoutout to the Titans for a game well played. It was exciting to watch the two well-matched teams battle it out Sunday night. There was a lot of heart and soul on the football field and in my book they were both winners.

Austin Marks (1) making a valiant drive towards the endzone, it is believed that on this drive he fought off 6 players.
